I went without my phone for a week, and this is what happened

Be honest… could you go without your phone for a week? 👀

Because I just found out I could

Self-Care Sunday: Annual retreat report. I removed my entire personality support system 🌊✨

Every year I do a retreat. A reset

Sometimes yoga.

Sometimes rediscovering me, sound healing, ect you get the picture

This year

Full digital detox.

As in

no phone,

no scrolling

no “quickly checking something”

ZERO.

I went fully offline.

Voluntarily.

(Still recovering emotionally.)

Day 1: Where is my phone? withdrawal phase

Day 2: Do I miss my phone? This is weird how much brain space I have

Day 7: I actually don’t want my phone back!

✨ Meditation = friendship on fast-forward

No small talk. No surface chat. Straight in:

“What are you calling in?” ✨

I made the BEST friendships…

like we definitely could run a very successful beachside cacao cartel together energy.

* New Soul Tribe: The best part! The friendships. There is something about meditating and visualising in a tech-free bubble that fast-tracks a bond. We went from strangers to "I’d give you my last piece of organic raw cacao" in 48 hours. In fact, the girls' catch-up is already in the planning

✨ The laughter was unhinged (in the best way)

I laughed so much.

I smiled so much.

My face actually ached.

Like I’d had a full facial…

but the active ingredient was FUN

Morning routine

Early beach walks. No notifications.

Just the ocean casually being iconic…

✨ The food situation

Nourishing. Delicious

✨ The Byron Bay effect

People look at you with full smiles in their eyes.

Not rushed. Not distracted. Just… present. Very weird at first 👀

I’m not saying everyone’s high…

but I am also not offering alternative explanations.

The actual self-care lesson:

We are not built for constant noise.

No phone = time expands

No scrolling = nervous system exhales

No distraction = you actually arrive in your life

The Verdict: My brain feels like it’s been through a luxury car wash. I came for the Reset, but I’m staying for the connection.

This is the kinda of vibe I strive to bring into the clinic. Your seen 💓
